Qualifications

We are looking for Chief, Warehouse for our mining company with the qualifications stated below; 

• Graduated from Engineering, Faculty of Economics, Supply Chain, or related disciplines is preferred,and having experience of 7+ years in Warehouse administration.
• Strong level of risk awareness is required,
• Excellent communication skills required,
• Fluent English is required, 
• Having knowledge of using MS Office applications, (preferably with advanced Excel knowledge)
• Having knowledge of ERP Systems such as (SAP, Oracle or similar systems. Ellipse ERP knowledge will be an asset)
• Knowledge of 5S, Inventory Optimisation or similar warehouse management systems are preferable,
• Analytical thinking,
• Strong problem solving and decision making,
• Responsible for team work,
• Dynamic, result oriented and powerful in tracking capability of the assigned works,
• Male candidates must have completed military service,

İŞ TANIMI

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and issuing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing ERP program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures,
• Prepares warehouse procedures, instructions,  SOP (Standart Operating Procedures), ..etc and coordinates all the processes consistent with the policies and procedures,
• Prepares annual stock count plan and performs the count as per approved plan by SCLM,
• Prepares internal audit plan and applies to all Warehouses of OMAS,
• Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions,
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols,
• Prepares, Improves and executes operational service standards,
• Ensures implemented systems are using effectively within warehouse,
• Follow up and ensure that all daily operation activities completed on time,
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system and future capacity requirements,
• Participates at ERP system implementation and improvement processes,
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement,
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results,
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results,
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed,
• Empower warehouse staff and optimize existing activities based on standards and best practices from Kaizen methodologies,
• Implements 5S system and ensures the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment according to the related guidance,
• Studies and analyzes current processes, determine their effectiveness, and recommend strategies for improvement and increasing the customer satisfaction,
