For the expansion of its local office in Turkey, we are looking for a Robo Drill Application Engineer. Her/ His function will be to support our customers using robodrills in their applications or production plants.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Creates CNC programs for a variety of multi-axis CNC machines
- Identifies and implements solutions for increased machine productivity and capability.
- Provides technical support for quality controls, process improvements, cost savings, process development projects, etc.
- Provides support for the development of manufacturing processes on various multi axis milling machines.
- Develops machining solutions to support new product development.
- Leads projects and processes; works with cross-functional teams to complete projects.
- Works with equipment/tooling and material vendors - Evaluates processes for improvements.
- Creates tool setup sheets for operators/machinists for use on the shop floor.
- Provide CNC technical expertise during DFM process with regard to new product development
- Understands & Creates robot programming for necessary milling actions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Engineering,
- General Manufacturing & Machining Processes knowledge and experience,
- Proven manufacturing background with CNC programming, setup & operation.
- Experience in Cam programming.
- Proven experience with NC controllers (PLC), robotics and computer numerical control (CNC) programming from computer aided design (CAD) models is a plus.
- Technical Degree in CNC
- Driving License and willingness to travel within assigned area.
- Flexibility, also in terms of working hours.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- PC literate (MS Office)
- Customer Oriented
- Knowledge of FANUC products will be an asset.
