  • Fluency in English & Local language.
  • Experience in SAP (preferable), proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, TMS (JDA)

Job Description


  • Organizes shipments of corn seeds (HALB & FERT & FOUNDATION) via SAP / TMS tools upon Stock Transfer / Sales Orders for Turkey.
  • Ensures all logistic transactions are in line with International & Local Transportation Rules and Monsanto policies & procedures (Trade Compliance, FCPA, etc)
  • Compromises on stock count with third party warehouse on monthly basis and takes needed action if necessary (stock reconciliation in SAP, informing cost accountant etc.)
  • Monitor inventory to assess accuracy, utilization and minimizing non-essential movements, in a well effective stock replenishment at designated warehouses
  • Generates & Prepares the shipment documents (Certificates & Delivery Note) for the shipments to domestic customers & other receiving parties, submits the needed information, instructions into SAP before Issuing the Goods.
  • Creates PR’s, follows up the PO processes for service & goods purchasing for Logistics Department
  • Coordinates the Invoicing process administration reviewing all the Logistics related invoices (Customs Clearence, Transportation, Storage etc.); creates SES or GR in SAP accordingly / matches with shipments, returns the invoice to relevant vendor if necessary and proceeding with the approval procedures on Webcycle Tool. Managing the financial relations with vendor (between vendor & Monsanto accounting)
  • Following up the circulation of official documents (Delivery & collection of the documents from/to the relevant governmental institutions for customs clearance purposes, e.g.Import & Export Permit)
  • Accompanies the customs officers & MOA officers during sampling on customs bonded zone in the import process, if necessary. 
  • Display a strong sense of urgency in researching, tracking & correcting shipment problems to resolve issues in a timely & cost-effective manner
  • Keeps the Archive of all documentation and vendor invoices on monthly basis, forwards needed document to relevant stakeholders (accounting, local plant team etc.) when requested
  • Assists Logistics Partner with Export & Import Permit application document preparation (Collecting certificates, making the documents translated into Turkish etc.)
  • Assists Logistics Partner with non-seed imports‘ coordination between Purchasing party, customs broker & transportation company
  • Backs up the logistics partner in his absence

  • To comply with occupational health and safety instructions and trainings, risk assessment results, emergency plans, safety and health signs and practices and ensure their implementation within the body of the enterprise.
  • Follow up of ESH rules, deliver the job and daily activities of work as in line with of 5S, ISO 9001 and ESTA requirements.
  • Understand the objectives of the area and maintain the expected improvement and follow-up to achieve these objectives.
  • Report the risks and opportunities that detected during working 
  • Report all non-conformities that could have impact on customer satisfaction or process efficiency and correct them herself/himself if possible
  • Maintain the all process and product checks on time, in full with the right direction and record the results.
