Job Purpose:
Through collaborating with the operation team, this position will lead, co-ordinate and support EHS activities at Şekerpınar/Çayırova, Kocaeli manufacturing site. Mainly, this position will ensure EHS is integrated into operations to achieve consistent and sustained continuous improvement and provide EHS expertise and support day-to-day operations.
Job Description :
• Execute the site EHS strategy, objectives, goals and targets in the site.
• Facilitate conformance to EHS Management System.
• Provide technical expertise and governance on EHS topics,
• Support site in performing routine checks / inspection of site work areas, equipment, in order to verify identification, understanding and control of EHS risks.
• Report and communicate EHS findings / opportunities for improvement to ensure that immediate actions or interim risk solutions are taken.
• Ensure that all reporting requirements are completed on time.
General Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Preferably min. 5 years of professional experience related to EHS, preferably in pharma sector.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and operate in a matrix environment.
• Has advanced knowledge in several functional areas in EHS.
• Expertise in the following areas is a plus:
o HSE Management systems
o HSE risk identification and control
o HSE regulatory requirements
o Environmental aspects / impacts evaluation and control
o Process safety management
o Risk assessment methodologies
o Management of EHS High risk activities incl. electrical work, work at height, hot work, use of lifting equipment, chemical
o Route cause investigation techniques
o Industrial Hygiene
• Fluency in written and spoken both in English and Turkish.
• Excellent communication.
