We are looking for onePSS Champion to drive continuous improvement initiative across Mustafakemalpaşa manufacturing facility. This role is focused on bringing the long-term, strategic improvement initiatives/projects for the site, rather than day-to-day operational activities alone. 

Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree or equivalent level an Engineering discipline, Industrial Engineering is advantageous,
  • At least 4 years of experience in similar roles in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement principles such as Lean, Six Sigma and WCM
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred
  • Skilled at leading, managing conflict and negotiating with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstration of courage, candor and initiative skills 
  • Coaching / mentoring group facilitation skills 
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral – open, honest and persistent)
  • Computer proficiencies like MS office etc.
  • Appetite for data analytics and visualization of data 
  • Fluent in English
  • Results oriented approach
  • Open to new and unconventional ideas and approaches 
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to positively impact change, models behaviors aligned with Bayer’s competencies 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence through a matrix  

Major tasks and responsibilities of position

  • Understand onePSS implementation methodology, lean content, and change management approach to successfully sustain onePSS implementation at site,
  • Long term strategic thinking to assist existing processes through reviewing, challenging and engaging all internal stakeholders towards building on long-term savings initiatives,
  • Ensuring adequate and timely communication at sites, 
  • Ensuring adequate training of site personnel to create a sustainable onePSS culture across the facility,
  • Acting as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in lean practices and facilitating the continuous improvement journey at the site,  
  • Reviewing continuous improvement opportunities with Implementation Task Force (ITF) and Site Steering Committee (SSC) to be implemented to focus on full benefit of employees and business,  
  • Be able to lead and work cohesively as a team member, interacting and building positive working relationships within the organization and across other functional groups and departments,
  • Coach / guide the team to ensure the recommendations and actions are followed to improve value for the site as issues and problems are fully visible to site leadership team,
  • Guide teams to evaluate improvements and prioritize implementation through tracking system, 
  • Lead best practices team and continuous improvements / best practices internally and externally (network), 
  • Support changes in a dynamic work environment demonstrating an innovative approach to problem solving,
  • Develop and review site key performance indicators that provide a clear tracking system on manufacturing performance and drive action.
