QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Head Sommelier with following skills for the uninterrupted flow of the business activities.

  • Extensive wine knowledge
  • Team player, outgoing , to meet and interact personally with guests.
  • Display leadership abilities and apply People Management Values.
  • Excellent guest relation and problem solving skills. 
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of additional languages is an advantage. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Presentation Skills
  • 2 years experience in a Head Sommelier position with other hotel


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • To work in a Head Sommelier position concerned directly with wine sales, purchasing & inventory management.
  • This position will work closely with restaurant service team and management to ensure the best possible wine experience for our guest.
  • Assists with the efficient and professional service of Food and Beverages, while ensuring guests receive optimum service in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and managing of all activities about wine.
  • To keep updated with the latest developments of  Wine  Concept.
  • To liaise with Cost Control to organize monthly Wine inventory.
  • To coordinate with other Outlet Managers whenever necessary regarding operational problems.
  • To promote the Wine operation, building rapport and sense of personalized service towards guests.
